Effect of Emergency Water Discharges from the Dam in Włocławek on the Sedimentary Structures of Channel Bars in the Lower Flow Regime of the River Vistula

Changes in the stream flow contribute to transformation of river channel due erosion and accumulation. Channel bars move as a result water flow. This article presents results studies carried out on two formed River Vistula that were transformed during emergency discharges from Włocławek reservoir. In order present changes structure texture, pits dug samples taken for grain-size analysis. The rate migration caused by was determined. Sedimentary structures recorded groups strata indicating variability conditions (2D 3D dunes, parasitic ripple marks, reactivation surfaces). It observed level are reflected sedimentary structures. emergent affected aeolian processes wear marks off.
